Accounts Receivable Finance:

GLOSSARY

 Financing your Commercial Accounts Receivable

How would enhanced cash flow improve your business performance?

Would next day funding of invoices improve your ability to manage growth?

Have cash flow constraints prevented your business from taking advantage of supplier discounts?

Unlike factoring, financing against your receivables is based on your business strength.

With receivables financing, we do not require your customer to confirm the invoice.

And, with receivables financing, there is no interference with your customer relationship; payments are still made payable to you but are mailed to a lockbox address.

After underwriting approval and setup, here's how easy it is to get next day funding on your invoices:

  • Your business sells products or services and enters invoice into your accounting system.

  • You electronically transmit batch of invoiced sales to the bank via Business Manager® secure system.

  • The bank purchases your A/R at a small discount fee; similar to a merchant credit card transaction.

  • The bank deposits cash in your checking account within 1 day.

  • The bank sets up a cash reserve for potential bad debt.

  • The bank provides you with key management reports for tracking accounts.

  • The bank can send monthly statements to account debtors (optional).

  • Your customer remits payment to the bank lockbox.

  • The bank enters payment information into the Business Manager® software and provides your business with reports via fax, mail or online.

  • View PowerPoint Slideshow for complete overview of process.
